30th November 2025 – Sneak peek! Photoshoot with Saskia Melina (www.saskiamelina.ch) for the stallion catalogues. Great preparation and handling by Janina Weyrauch who has been supporting us since Snowfire was 3. Snowfire looks and feels great and we are looking forward to some very exciting footage this year. It is true – stallions are like fine wine, as they mature they turn into something truly special.

24th October 2025 – As every year, we open the Early Bird Offer for Snowfire’s high quality deep frozen semen until October 31.

We offer the dose of 6 straws for EUR/CHF 325,- (half-price!), no more than 2 doses available per mare at this price. Semen is available at depots across Europe/UK, offer does not include handling/ transport/ import fees where applicable. Semen needs to be used for breeding season 2026.

17th September 2025 – our beautiful championesse Sonata di Luna, by Snowfire, out of Fidance (Sanyo-Columbus) is confirmed in foal to dressage world champion Sir Heinrich (Sir DonnerhallxFürst Heinrich-Rubinstein I)! We are expecting a fancy skewbald with exciting movement. This foal will be for sale to a 5* home, we are already taking inquiries.

5th September 2025 – after a well-deserved summer break, Snowfire is back in training, getting ready for more advanced work: piaffe, passage, pirouette are on the program, plus lots of in-hand work.

13th July 2025 – Martin Küpper has been to Effingen to train with Melanie and a small group of her students. Snowfire is developing very well as he builds strength, stamina and reflection for his collected work.

1st May 2025 – Spring has finally arrived and with the outdoor season officially in swing, here is a little reel of Snowfire and Melanie working on the jumping green. Enjoy!

2nd December 2024 – Snowfire will be distributed exclusively in Switzerland by Nationales Pferdezentrum (NPZ) Bern. We are delighted about this partnership that enables us to promote and offer top quality frozen semen to Swiss breeders. As part of this partnership, Snowfire will also be shown by Melanie Anne Schwabe at the national stallion show “Hengste in Bern” (https://www.npz.ch/kurse/hib25/) on the 18th of January 2025.

15th November 2024 – another great clinic with Guillaume Ducos. Snowfire is growing in strength and stamina, and we were able to show his qualities in full to the Trakehnerfriends of Switzerland (https://www.facebook.com/TrakehnerfreundeSchweiz). Many thanks for your visit, the interesting exchange, and your most valuable help in our fotoshoot!

25th September 2024 – we look back on a very successful weekend. Our first ever dressage clinic together! Thank you, Guillaume Ducos, for a fantastic first experience. It’s back to the basics for us for now – to perfect the swing through the body in all 3 gaits, create mental and physical “losgelassenheit” and develop each gait to its full quality. Snow is learning to be “mousse au chocolat” in his dressage work, he is such a joy to work with, and we had an enormous amount of fun. In end, that’s what it’s all about, right?

4th September 2024 – Snowfire has settled in well in his newly furnished walkabout box at Horsefarm Effingen in Switzerland where he enjoys daily turnout in his stallion field. His further training now starts with Melanie Anne Schwabe (co-owner and rider) under the expert supervision of FEI GP dressage trainer Guillaume Ducos.

28th August 2024 – Nikkita Fireblade, 2024 jet black Trakehner colt by Snowfire scored Gold at the British Breeding Futurity with a fantastic result of 8,275 and 2nd in his class! Congratulations to his breeder Nicola Jooste. Fireblade’s dam is the AES graded Trakehner mare Keatinge Firefly by Elfenstein out of a Tycoon-Latimer dam. He was the only purebred British born Trakehner colt presented and one of the youngest contestants with 3 months.

Potential

Snowfire has three excellent airborne gaits with expressive shoulder action, strong rhythm and powerful hindquarters.

He has a wonderful calm personality, is sweet in nature and very easy to handle. Our children brush and ride him, he is stabled with mares, and is simply a delightful and kind member of our family.

Pedigree

Snowfire’s pedigree is impressive – he combines the best of dressage sport and breeding lines in Trakehner and Warmbloods –

Gribaldi – Sixtus – Münchhausen – Caprimond – Michelangelo

Just these 5 select ancestors have competed successfully to Grand Prix themselves and have made a mark as sires on international dressage and showjumping/eventing breeding.

Performance

HIs first foal crops show his stamp as a sire: Trakehner type, refined model, multi-disciplinary, excellent movement and solid character.

Snowfire won and placed in FEI Young Horses Tests with high scores (high 70’s) as a 4 year old. The international judges gave him 8 ‘s and 9’s on his gaits as well commenting “wonderful natural balance, lovely horse, enormous talent, quality paces”. As a 5 year old he qualified for the Belgian Championship with tests over 80% and scored 73.2% in the 2nd qualification. To finish the year on a high note, he won the LEWB (Ligue Equestre Wallonie Bruxelles) Championship with 200 points advance!

Despite a 6 month injury-related break in 2024 he successfully completed the 50 day Stallion Performance Test in Stadl Paura, AUT. His evaluations have exceeded expectations, amongst the highest scoring walks with *8.5*, *8* for his canter and jumping – showing the true versatility of his breed! And most importantly a full *10* for character.

All Inclusive was Reserve Champion at his Trakehner Licensing in Neumünster, later he won advanced classes at Small Tour Level in the dressage arena and was honored as an Elite Trakehner stallion. With only sporadic breeding use, he produced the remarkable numbers of five licensed sons and 32 premium mares
